This paper is reviewing the book India’s new economic policy: a critical analysis edited by W. Ahmed, A. Kundu and R. Peet.

This book looks at the major effects of the economic liberalisation on the economic growth and the indian society. This present review focuses on three dominant thematics: urbanisation, the processes of development and environmentalism, and resistances to economic liberalisation.
